Sisense enables you to view log files directly from the Application User Interface, in order to monitor Sisense activity on your system. For example, to monitor translation and API gateway logs.
Once accessed, log files can be filtered to focus on specific information.

Note:

Currently supporting single node installations only.

To access log files from the Home screen:

  1. In the Admin page, click System Management and then click Monitoring.

  2. In the General/Nodes window, click Log_Explore.png{height="" width=""} Explore and select Loki as your data source.

  3. Enter the following value in the Log browser field:

{namespace="sisense"}

Note:

If the Sisense environment was installed using a different Kubernetes namespace value, input its value.

  1. Click Run Query and the logs are listed.

You can filter the logs by app, by namespace, pod, ip, licenseId and more, to locate and isolate specific log files information. For more information about working with the logs, see Using Loki in Grafana.

Note:

If Loki was not enabled during the installation, you will be required to enable it and re-install Sisense. To do so, open the configuration file "./kubespray/extra_values/installer/installer-values.yaml" and set the configuration "lok.enabled: true" and run the installation.
