Connecting Infusion Apps to Sisense

Installing Infusion Apps

After the application administrator has Adding Infusion Apps to an Organization's Environment, end users can install individual apps for use.

Slack

Sisense Analytics for Slack can be found by searching the App Directory within your Slack account. Each user must individually install the Infusion App.

  1. In the side menu, click the '+' icon next to Apps.
  2. Search for "Sisense Analytics".
  3. Click Install.

You can now Connecting Infusion Apps to Sisense.

Microsoft Teams

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click the three-dot icon.
  3. Search for "Sisense Analytics".
  4. Click Add.

You can now Connecting Infusion Apps to Sisense.

Google Workspace (for Sheets or Slides)

Sisense Analytics for Google Workspace can be found by searching the Google Workspace Marketplace from within a Google account. Each user must individually install the Infusion App.

  1. Open Google Sheets or Slides.
    • For Sheets: Click Extensions > Add Extension.
    • For Slides: Click Add-ons > Get Add-ons.
  2. Search for "Sisense Analytics".
  3. On Sisense Infusion Analytics, click Install.
  4. Click Allow to allow the Infusion App access to data required for it to work.
  5. After the Add-on installs, click Done.

You can now Connecting Infusion Apps to Sisense.

MS Office 365

Sisense Analytics for Office 365 can be found in the Add-ins pane from the Insert ribbon. The app will be visible if added to your organization in the previous step.

  1. Open Excel in Office 365 (Desktop or Cloud).
  2. Click the Insert tab on the ribbon.
  3. Click Office Add-ins.
  4. Click Admin Managed (dependent on your Microsoft Admin having deployed the add-in).
  5. Click the Sisense Analytics app tile.
  6. Click Add.

You can now launch and Connecting Infusion Apps to Sisense.

Logging In to Infusion Apps

For each Infusion App, you will be redirected to the Sisense Sign-in page.

  1. Login:
    • In Slack and Teams, type Login and click Connect to Sisense.
    • In Google Workspace and MS Office 365, click Login.

      Note:

      Sisense Analytics can be added from Slides or Sheets. The Infusion App supports both products.
  2. Enter your Sisense instance name.
    You can copy and paste the URL directly into the field to avoid keystroke errors, for example: https://yourinstancename.sisense.com
  3. Enter your Sisense or SSO credentials (if applicable).
  4. Click Submit or Login.
