Customizing the Sisense User Interface

This page describes how to customize Sisense’s look and feel from the Admin page. You can select fonts to use throughout the Sisense user interface and set colors for dashboards, widgets, backgrounds, and more. Preview your changes so that you can see what your customizations look like before you implement them.

To customize the Sisense look and feel:

  1. From the Admin page, in the menu, select Look and Feel.

  2. Scroll down the page and customize the colors, fonts, and so on for various parts of the Sisense user experience.

    Typography

    • Select one of the available font types, which will be used across Sisense in dashboards, widgets, navigational elements, and system pages:

      • Centrale Sans
      • Lato
      • Lora
      • Monteserrat
      • Noto Sans
      • Open Sans
      • Oswald
      • Poppins
      • PT Sans
      • Roboto
      • Source Sans Pro
    • Select colors for primary and secondary text, and hyperlinks. You can do this in one of three ways:

      • Use the color picker to select a color (A)
      • Enter the HEX color value (B)
      • Select a color from your list of favorites (C)
    • To add the selected color to your list of favorites, click +.

    General Design Settings

    • Select the colors for the dashboard toolbar and filter panels
    • Select a preset color scheme or define custom colors for Widgets
    • Select the colors for navigation elements that display across Sisense
      When you make a change, the preview displays how the selected options will appear once you apply them.
  3. Depending on your license, you can customize the marketing banner that displays at the top of the Data and Analytics pages.

    To customize the marketing banner, on the White Labeling page, either:

    • Select to show or hide the Sisense marketing banner
    • Replace the banner with your own webpage
      To do so, enter a valid URL of the website to display.
  4. To apply all changes, at the bottom of the page, click Save and Apply.

Customizing the Sisense User Interface with the REST API

In addition to the interface Sisense provides for customizing the UI, you can customize it through the Sisense REST API options are available in REST API 1.0 under: /settings/ui.
